Hospitality & Leisure Asia (HLA) ： In 1988, Barbara Allen established Allen and Chow Design Ltd. to provide design and arrangement specially for hotel and leisure construction projects. Later Allen and Chow Design Ltd. successfully signed an exclusive contract with a great interior design company in Hong Kong and established a full new hotel business team, running neck to neck with the world top class hotel design companies.
In May 1996, Allen and Chow Design Ltd. concluded the above exclusive contract after achieving the objective of starting a business, and devoted itself to the better service for other demanding clients, hotels and foreign construction companies.
On August 1, 1996, into order to better reflect the company's business nature of focus on hotel and leisure construction market and fully display their policy devoted to the development of the business in Asia Allen and Chow Design Ltd. officially declared its new name: Hospitality & Leisure Asia （ HLA ） and assigned Monica Ng, an experience design director to plan as a whole the business in Hong Kong, Taipei and the mainland of China.
In August 1996, HLA set up Hospitality & Leisure Asia in Kuala Lumpur to provide professional service for their customers in Malaysia and Singapore , and to established closer relations with the customers in the Southeast Asia .
The chief executive officers have cooperated for years and get on well. They are also shareholders of HLA. They are very experienced in hotel and hydration construction design, with customers in all the Asian countries, including the large-scale hotels and enterprise developers. In the brochure, we list the wonderful projects of every designer in detail, from which we can see that the hotels and hydration construction designed by HLA has its own features and enjoy global honor, including hotels, resorts, conference center, special entertainment facilities, dining hall, meeting space, retail store, delicacy square, postal ship, hotel-style service houses and even royal palaces.
What's more, HLA also has an office in Singapore , managed by Chow Hung Fun, a senior director, and it has set up new joint ventures in Taipei and in Dupont of the United Arab Emirates .
