Arick Chan - Canadian interior designer, pursued his studies for the degrees in interior design in Hong Kong , Britain and the United States and once worked as the interior design lecturer of Hong Kong Workers' Union . In 1981, he began to engage in interior design in Eddy Khoe Architects & Designers and in 1984 was promoted to senior interior designer. In 1986 he joined the Rocco Design & Partners in Hong Kong and set up Arterior Limited in 1992 to carry out independent interior design and decoration projects. In 1994 he set up the Arick Chan Design Ltd. to provide interior design service exclusively. Now he is member of many designers' associations in Hong Kong and Britain .
The most representative interior design projects include the new legislature building completed in 1985 (formerly known as Hong Kong Higher Court), new image design of the Headquarters of Jianye Bank Hong Kong branch and all its Hong Kong branches; Hong Kong Land Fund Office; the new image design of Baosheng Bank Headquarters and its branches; Chained Mario Italian restaurant from 1991 to 1994 and the head office of Celestial Asia Securities Holdings Limited and its concerned new business image design from 1998 to 2000, etc.
Its current major customers include Bank of China (Hong Kong) Company, Ltd., Beijing Jinggang Property Development Company, Hong Kong Celestial Asia Securities Holdings Limited, Hong Kong Maxim's Caterers Group, Hong Kong Ho Choi Group and Hong Kong Pricerite Group Limited Youxiang Company, etc. |
